Update on Taya Valkyrie, why she had to pull out of tonight’s Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory PPV

As noted on Saturday, Taya Valkyrie had to pull out of Impact Wrestling’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view and her Red Wedding (First Blood) match with Rosemary has been postponed.

PWInsider reported that there was a visa issue. She is Canadian so she would not have a problem getting into Ottawa but there was concern about her being get back into the United States after the TV tapings. Their report stated: “With the current Presidency in the U.S., there was a concern that her return back to the United States could be complicated.”

Valkyrie told fans that it was a personal situation and she would give details on Twitter but later pulled back on that. She said, “Was going to post a video, but after reading the “claims” ppl have written about me and Impact I’ll choose the high road. Not now…enough.”

So, it’s not clear if she is contradicting the report about the visa issue and/or if there is another issue keeping her off the PPV and TV tapings.
