Former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi has suffered an injury and is off the rest of the Best of the Super Juniors tour. He suffered a ruptured right biceps tendon at ROH’s War of the Worlds event in Philadelphia, PA. New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that Tanahashi would return to action on 6/9 for the Dominion event. As a result of his injury, Satoshi Kojima will be taking Tanahashi’s place on the rest of the tour.
Tanahashi commented on the injury by writing the following on Twitter, “My biceps fractured. I am sorry for everyone who was looking forward to it. # Njpw”
