New Japan Pro Wrestling’s debut in the United States will air on TV

It looks like fans across the United States will be able to watch the New Japan Pro Wrestling shows that will be taking place in Long Beach, California on July 1 and 2.

In a recent blog post, Jim Ross wrote, “AXSTV has finalized their broadcast plans with NJPW for the July 1-2 weekend in Long Beach, California and the official announcement will be made on May 18. You’re going to like what you hear.”

There were different ideas being discussed including broadcasting the shows live in primetime or airing one show live and the second show on tape delay. Last week, the working idea was to air both shows live and it looks like Jim Ross will be calling the action with Josh Barnett. For those of you who don’t have access to AXS TV, you can watch the shows live on New Japan World.
