Best In The World: Dalton Castle is still ROH World Heavyweight Champion

ROH Best In The World was capped off by the main event featuring Dalton Castle defending the ROH World Championship against Cody Rhodes and Marty Scurll in a Triple Threat Match. NWA World Champion was sitting ringside next to Cary Silkin during this match. Despite his back issues, Castle looked alright during the match but the Triple Threat format allowed him to get some rest at ringside at different times during the match.

Castle almost had the match won but Aldi pulled the referee out of the ring, apparently because he wants Rhodes to win the match. Rhodes dove onto Aldis at ringside. Scurll hit Castle with the title and Rhodes pulled the ref out before the three count. Referee Todd Sinclair kicked Aldis, Brandi Rhodes and The Boys out. Minutes later, Castle hit Bang a rang on Scurll to retain the title. This was a surprise to many because the belief was that Rhodes would win the title ahead of All In.

The Young Bucks defeated The Briscoes to capture the ROH World Tag Team Championship at the Best In The World pay-per-view. The Bucks had the match won at one point but Mark Briscoe hit the referee with an elbow off the top.  Seconds later, Mark broke up another pin attempt after a Meltzer Driver. Jay hit the J-Driller on Matt and it looked like that was the end of the match but Matt barely got his shoulder up before the referee counted him out. The Briscoes hit the Super Redneck Boogie neck breaker off the top. That was enough to get them the win. The Briscoes retained. The Briscoes attacked The Bucks after the match. So Cal Uncensored ran down to join the party but they attacked The Briscoes instead.
