SPOILER: Former WWE stars answer Young Bucks’ open challenge at Saturday’s ROH TV tapings

Ring of Honor held their Charm City Excellence event on Saturday afternoon in Baltimore, Maryland and during the tapings, two former WWE Superstars made a surprise appearance. The Young Bucks, who are now the ROH Tag Team Champions following their win over The Hardys at last weekend’s Supercard of Honor event, held an open invitational for their titles. The challenge was answered by Kenny Dykstra and Mike Mondo, best known as Kenny and Mikey of the Spirit Squad. The Young Bucks won the match, which will air on an upcoming episode of ROH TV.

As we noted earlier on the site, Kenny and Mikey have been removed from the SmackDown live roster page, which indicates that their latest run in WWE has come to an end. Their profiles on WWE.com were placed in the WWE Alumni section. Kenny and Mikey made their return to the company last October to assist The Miz in taking down Dolph Ziggler while the two Superstars were feuding over the Intercontinental Championship. The duo continued to work for the company through November but stopped appearing on WWE television without explanation.

We will have spoilers from the tapings posted on the site shortly.
