Everyone knows about Stephen Amell’s friendship with Cody Rhodes. Following Amell’s role at the San Antonio Ring Of Honor show, he can now call himself a friend of The Bullet Club. Amell, a huge wrestling fan, was able to get Cody Rhodes on several episodes of his CW show “Arrow.”
Now, he is talking about getting the rest of The Bullet Club involved. At the Heroes and and Villians Fan Fest in Atlanta, he said that he’s hung out with Rhodes, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks and he is trying to get them on an episode of ‘Arrow.’
Here’s the main quote and scroll down for the clip of Amell from the fan fest:
“I’m trying to get those guys to come out to one of these shows, as a group. I think that would be amazing. Those guys are great. Matt and Nick and Kenny and Cody being the main guys I’ve been able to hang out with. I appreciate anyone that does something in an entreprenurial spirit and those guys are really paving their own way. I mean, we would decimate them within one episode. They would be the group that we would foil in act one, and then figure out what the real problem was.” He added, “If Sampson was ever gonna come back on the show, it would only make sense that he would be surrounded by his group of Bullet Club friends. That would be fun”

Amell seems to have a huge influence behind the scenes at “Arrow” so it would not shock me if he is able to pull some strings to get the Bullet Club in for one episode. It’s amazing what the BC has been able to do without the WWE machine promoting them. It’s certainly a fun time to be a fan of independent wrestling.
