Aron Rex, formerly known as Damien Sandow in WWE, revealed in a recent interview with Title Match Wrestling at WrestleCon last week that he is no longer with Impact Wrestling. After he was released from WWE in 2016, he made his Impact Wrestling debut last August and was pushed as a main event player. He became the company’s first Impact Grand Champion. In October, he introduced a new Liberace-esque gimmick last October and was a part of their television tapings this past January.
Also in the interview, he hinted at possibly retiring from pro wrestling. He said that he doesn’t know if this is going to be it for him because he is no longer with Impact. He added that ending on this note is not a bad thing and he would not say that he is never going to get back in the ring again.
