Impact Wrestling to run their first domestic live event since 2015

Impact Wrestling has announced that they will be running their first domestic live event since 2015. They will be running the show at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark, the home of Minor League Baseball’s Staten Island Yankees.

The show is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 5 at 6:00 pm with ticket prices starting at $25.00. This is likely a deal put together by Executive Producer Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett ran several shows at Minor League Baseball parks in 2016 for his Global Force Wrestling promotion.

The main names included in the advertising are Allie, Eddie Edwards, Eli Drake, Bobby Lashley, Alberto El Patron, James Storm, and EC3.

The TV tapings that took place this week in India marked the first time that they’ve taped television outside of Orlando since late 2015. The last domestic event took place in Charlotte, North Carolina when they ran Bound For Glory. Financial issues caused the company to scale back on live events. The new management is looking to run more shows outside of Orlando.
