Matt Hardy appears at ROH Final Battle, challenge laid down for The Young Bucks

There was a huge surprise at the ROH Final Battle pay-per-view. Following The Young Bucks successful title defense against The Briscoes (by the way, it was a fantastic match), the lights went out and then Matt Hardy appeared on the video wall.

Matt said that he and Jeff will go to Ring Of Honor to render the Young Bucks obsolete. He then said that he and Jeff will delete their tag team title reign.

Kevin Kelly wondered if this meant that the Hardys would be deleting The Young Bucks in 2017. The Hardy’s TNA deal does not expire until February so, obviously, a deal had to have been worked out with TNA. This could possibly mean that The Young Bucks will appear on the upcoming “Total Nonstop Deletion” episode of Impact Wrestling. We’ll see if that’s the case. It’s also interesting to note that The Young Bucks are going to be free agents soon so this could also mean that they’ve committed to new ROH deals.
