Another NXT star will be out of action for several months. On Sunday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Riddick Moss was on crutches backstage at the recent NXT tapings. He has a torn Achilles tendon, which means that he will be out for about eight months, essentially on the shelf until early 2019.
As noted a few days ago, his tag team partner Tino Sabatelli is also injured with a torn pec and he will be out for approximately eight months.
Before their injuries, they filmed an angle with them splitting up so their future as a tag team is in question.
There’s no word yet on when Moss suffered his injury.
