Big Cass is no longer an employee of WWE and although some people are poking fun at the situation the reality is that within six months both Big Cass and Enzo Amore were released from WWE and sadly neither received a “best of luck in your future endeavors” line in the official announcement either.
However, it looks like just because Big Cass isn’t going to be on SmackDown Live anymore doesn’t mean he won’t have any more WWE merchandise coming out.
It takes the wonderful people at Mattel some time to make sure their WWE action figures live up to their reputation of quality. This is why it takes so long to get a figure released for a debuting Superstar and why some top names in NXT still don’t have an action figure yet.
But it looks like Big Cass had another figure on the way and it looks impossible to cancel at this point because according to Ringside Collectables, it’s slated to hit shelves in August.
An upcoming Battle Pack of Big Cass and Big Show could recreate their rivalry from SummerSlam 2017, but when the figures drop it’s likely to just be a reminder that Cass isn’t around anymore. It is very possible that this is a sign that WWE didn’t plan on releasing Big Cass when they did.
