WWE has no offseason which is something they actually used to use in promotional material. At this point, the only way a top WWE Superstar can really get time off is if they’re injured or there is some kind of unavoidable situation. But WWE also grants their Superstars passes when they need to go shoot a movie or other project. They’ve done this plenty of times before and it’s quite commonplace at this point because WWE often doesn’t need to make up an excuse for someone to leave they just let fans know there’s a movie being filmed.
There aren’t many WWE Superstars who are as theatrical as Bray Wyatt. His promos paint a desolate wasteland of metaphor and sorrow as he promises to heal his victims by defeating them in the process. He is the Eater Of Worlds and holds the whole world in his hands at the same time. Now it sounds like Wyatt is also ready for his close-up.
WWE is a media conglomerate at this point and WWE Studios keeps pumping out pictures. Some of those films star WWE Superstars while others don’t. But if you ask Bray Wyatt it’s about time for them to cast him in a leading role.
See No Evil 2 directors The Soska Sisters tweeted out in 2014 that they were eager to put Bray Wyatt’s tale on the silver screen and it sounds like Wyatt is more ready than ever to make it happen.
Only time will tell if Bray Wyatt is finally able to tell the story of Sister Abigail to answer so many questions we still have with his character. But his alliance with Matt Hardy could provide a wonderful addition to this tale for sure especially if they can delve into some of his Woken Wisdom in the process.
But whether or not Windom Rotunda is cast as Bray Wyatt or not in a movie is another matter entirely. His acting skills are extremely good so he would be an excellent addition to any cast where the plot of the movie delves into the strange, absurd, or downright dark but he can also be pretty humorous as well. Therefore it looks like Bray Wyatt will keep sitting by his phone waiting for it to ring so he might be able to get a nice little vacation from WWE to film a movie.
Someone put me in a movie already
