WWE has confirmed that Chris Jericho is returning to WWE at The Greatest Royal Rumble show in Saudi Arabia. The show will stream live at 12 pm eastern on Friday, April 27 on the WWE Network. It’s unclear if this is a full-time return for Jericho or if this is just a one-shot deal as part of WWE’s attempt to load this show up as much as possible.
Jericho will be part of the 50-Man Greatest Royal Rumble match. Other names announced include Kurt Angle, Big Show, Bray Wyatt, Daniel Bryan, Kane, Braun Strowman, Baron Corbin, Big E, Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, Apollo, Shelton Benjamin, Sin Cara, Elias, Chad Gable, Goldust, Titus O’Neil, Mojo Rawley, and Dolph Ziggler.
Also announced for the show:
Brock Lesnar will defend the WWE Universal Championship in a Steel Cage Match against Roman Reigns, John Cena will take on Triple H and Seth Rollins will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Samoa Joe, Finn Balor and The Miz in a Fatal 4-Way Match.
There will be a total of 7 title matches on the show. WWE is hoping to attract 60,000 fans so you can expect heavy hype for this show on their weekly TV shows.
