Wrestle Kingdom 12 is approaching us fast and will be here before we know it. This amazing night of pro wrestling is sure to bring a ton of excitement surrounding many matches, mainly the Okada vs Naito and Jericho vs Omega.
Kenny Omega said that Wrestle Kingdom 12 will be a “double main event” but Tetsuya Naito has another opinion on the situation.
Naito responds to @KennyOmegamanX calling #njwk12 a double main event. 'One, I've been through this. I've been called 'double main event one'. It doesn't mean anything. It's the semi main event.' https://t.co/wamY2P3bjG

Never to hold his opinion back on any situation, Chris Jericho spoke up about Naito’s claims that he’s not only in a main event match against Kenny Omega, but he’s in the only main event match of the evening. Instead of sharing the glory with Okada and Naito, he’s going to take all the spotlight he can for his big match.

If Chris Jericho were to capture Omega’s IWGP North American Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 12, it could be a huge moment for the company and might propel the IWGP North American Heavyweight Championship to being the second-most-important title in the company. Only time will tell though because Jericho might just be looking for one big match. But saying “there’s only one main event” for WK 12 is certainly a bold declaration.
However, we’re willing to bet Jericho and Omega are going to give it their all even if some might consider their contest a semi-main event.
