Chris Jericho is on the mind of so many pro wrestling fans after he surprised the world by showing up on New Japan television and challenging Kenny Omega to a monster of a dream match at Wrestle Kingdom 12.
He might have a big match coming up in the Tokyo Dome on January 4th, but there is thought that Chris Jericho could still appear for WWE with no trouble at all. After all, he is still going to have a lot of loyalty to Vince McMcMahon and Company. It’s not like WWE is giving him permission to do this match in New Japan because he’s a free agent, but he’s certainly not being told he can’t do it.
Jericho is a free agent and has been for months now. Therefore, he’s able to make his own career decisions. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter said fans could expect Jericho back sometime in 2018. He might make some kind of appearance at the Raw 25th Anniversary special on January 22nd and use the angle that he had just come off of a huge match but wanted to come back to WWE and perform on their stage now. It is believed Chris Jericho’s name might even be worth more than it was before.
It’s been mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio how a WrestleMania match isn’t out of the picture either for the Ayatollah of Rock n Rolla. If anything, he’s certainly getting in amazing shape for his next wrestling match.
