Daniel Bryan likes the idea of competing at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 13

Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega really shocked the pro wrestling world when they revealed their plans were to have a match at Wrestle Kingdom 12 all along. It turns out the big match they were teasing won’t be on a cruise ship after all.

Then again, a match on Jericho’s Rock N Wrestling Rager At Sea between The Cleaner and the Ayatollah of Rock n Rolla isn’t out of the picture yet. But their match at Wrestle Kingdom 12 for the IWGP North American Heavyweight Championship is going to be a huge deal.

Chris Jericho is actually a free agent and likely did all of this negotiation with New Japan on his own.

Jericho has been reportedly working on this big match since August. Jericho told Killing The Town with Storm and Cyrus that he is financially responsible for his big Rock N Wrestling cruise and said he wanted to get NXT talent for the cruise but after months of talks, the deal fell through. However, Chris Jericho decided to do the cruise anyway.

The Rock N Wrestling Rager At Sea needed to partner with a big promotion so it looks like Jericho is turning to New Japan and ROH for the big party on the open waters.

Therefore it’s highly unlikely Vince McMahon has anything to do with this Wrestle Kingdom deal between Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega. So, it looks like the best way for WWE Superstars to show up in New Japan is for them to simply leave WWE first. We’re looking at you, Daniel Bryan.

The Beaded GOAT liked the following tweet from Pro Wrestling Sheet’s James McKenna concerning Daniel Bryan’s possible involvement in Wrestle Kingdom 13. This gives us a very good idea of what Daniel Bryan is thinking, and it looks like he’s thinking about Bryan Danielson vs anyone at Wrestle Kingdom 13 just like the rest of us.
