Enzo Amore hasn’t said much since he was released from his WWE contract in January. His statement from his lawyer is the last post on his Twitter account but a new post on Instagram has his fans talking.
Amore posted a photo that many fans are taking as his official retirement statement. The photo is accompanied by the following caption: “I T ‘ S * B E E N * R E A L ✌🏼”
For those of you wondering, the last we heard was that the rape investigation is still open. Despite what some have said online, he has not been charged with anything. That doesn’t mean that he will or will not be charged but it should be pointed out that police have not issued any statements since January. The reason why he was released by WWE is that he failed to let them know that police opened the investigation last October.
Amore could be referencing a non-compete. April 23rd would be 90 days since his release date (January 23rd). If that is the case then it could mean that we’ll be hearing more for him. It also frees him up to work for any company that wants to book him.
