It’s an amazing time to be a wrestling fan. The independent wrestling scene is hotter than it’s ever been. ROH drew roughly 6,000 people to Supercard Of Honor on Saturday night, New Japan Pro Wrestling is drawing crowds all over the world with an eye on a return to the United States in July, and even Impact Wrestling seems to be on the upswing.
We’re seeing a lot of “never say never” scenarios actually coming to fruition. The one “never say never” scenario that fans thought would never happen is Impact Wrestling and WWE working together. As noted several weeks ago, WWE has licensed footage from the “Broken” Matt Hardy timeframe at Impact.
@WWEHomeVideoUK, the official licensee for WWE DVD and Blu-Ray releases in the United Kingdom, announced that Impact Wrestling footage will be shown on the upcoming “Twist Of Fate: Best of the Hardy Boyz” DVD/Blu-Ray. It will be released in stores and digital platforms on April 30th.
This is WONDERFUL news for Hardy fans.
We can exclusively reveal that WWE has worked with Impact Wrestling on Twist of Fate: Best of the Hardy Boyz. For the first time ever, a WWE DVD release will feature footage from Impact, as part of a candid look at the "Broken Universe"! Out on DVD 30th April! pic.twitter.com/ol3zxoNT0y
