Former WWE star PJ Black (Justin Gabriel) loses finger, suffers broken leg and hand in base jumping accident

Current Lucha Underground star PJ Black (known to most fans as former WWE Superstar Justin Gabriel) suffered a broken leg, a broken hand and the loss of a finger after a base jumping accident in South Africa last week.

The injuries have forced him to cancel independent appearances and his timetable for a full recovery is 12 months. Black is hoping to get back in the ring within 6 months. He has also noted that he has early arthritis in all of his joints from his 20 years of wrestling.

It’s not the first time something like this has happened. Back in 2016, he broke both ankles after a base jump accident. In the video below, he noted that he is now relearning how to use and bend his finger.

Gabriel posted this video (see below) to describe that happened to him. He is not the person in the video but he said that it depicts exactly what happened to him. We send along our best wishes to him and we hope for a speedy and full recovery.
