There’s been talk of Hulk Hogan returning to the company, according to the latest Wrestling Observer newsletter. There have been ideas floated before but ultimately they were dropped because WWE has been concerned about the backlash from sponsors because of the racist quotes that leaked out a couple of years ago. Triple H has said before that they are open to Hogan returning but it would have to make sense from a timing standpoint.
Also, Hogan had been in recent talks about a return to wrestling but not with WWE and if the deal would have gone through, it would have been a huge angle. The deal fell through because it would not have made economic sense.
For what it’s worth, Hogan has been teasing something big on his Twitter account. He said, “When it rains it pours. I will never say I’m bored again. Business is getting crazy off the chain. Better than ever, one more time around the block! Thank u God. I AM Grateful. HH.”
