It’s official – Ric Flair is headed to WWE Starrcade

The Starrcade live event taking place on 11/25 in Greensboro, NC may end being WWE’s biggest non-televised live event of the year.

They are doing everything possible to mix in today’s talent with names that were associated with Starrcade in the 80’s and 90’s. We had speculated that Ric Flair could be on the show if he was healthy enough to travel and it looks like his recovery is going well becuase Charlotte Flair has confirmed that her father will be appearing on the show.

During a recent interview in Barcelona, Flair told our friends at SoloWrestling.com that he would be there. She said, “I know he’s going to Starrcade, Saturday after Thanksgiving to watch me wrestle in a cage.”

This would be Flair’s first WWE appearance since being hospitalized back in August. We also know that Flair will be at the Raw 25th-anniversary show. The only legends officially announced for Raw 25 are Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, and The Undertaker but we also know that Flair, Bret Hart, and Mick Foley have all been booked for the show.

As far as Starrcade goes, here is the updated card:

WWE Championship – Steel Cage Match
Jinder Mahal (Champion) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

WWE Superstar robbed during Survivor Series, irreplaceable items stolen

Smackdown Women’s Championship – Steel Cage Match
Natalya (Champion) vs. Charlotte Flair

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express

United States Championship – Triple Threat Match
Baron Corbin (Champion) vs. AJ Styles vs. Rusev

Smackdown Tag Team Championship – Texas Tornado Match
The Usos (Champions) vs. The New Day

Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler

Breezango vs. Aiden English and Mike Kanellis

Also scheduled to appear: Ric Flair, The Hardy Boyz and Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat
