Jim Ross believes The Miz and Maryse will have a breakout year in WWE, gives high praise to Neville

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has posted a new blog entry over at his website where he gives his thoughts on various topics. During the blog, Ross commented on The Miz and Maryse. He believes that they will have a breakout year in WWE in 2017. He said that as Miz gets more aggressive offensively and his lovely and talented wife continues to evolve her velvet skills, it makes them a combo that will be headlining major events for RAW in 2017.

Ross also praised Neville. He said that Neville is the guy for WWE to build their cruiserweight division and that he loves Neville’s game. He expects that Neville vs. Austin Aries at Sunday’s Payback PPV is going to be a match of the night type attraction.

Finally, Ross commented on Bray Wyatt. “Intrigued and interested by how WWE booked Bray Wyatt to close RAW Monday night. I’m a Bray fan and vividly recall the multiple conversations that I had with the late Dusty Rhodes about Blackjack Mulligan’s grandson. I may be off targeting here but I can easily see Bray Wyatt being a viable, main event level fan favorite in time as fans seem to love to participate in his overall presentation, specifically his entrance.” He asked if Wyatt is being subtlety portioned to replace the Undertaker as it relates to a fan favorite who espouses unique powers. He said that those are big shoes to fill, but if Wyatt can continue to advance his game and make the persona his own, then there is a chance that it will be successful. Ross likes this direction if that’s what it turns out to be.
