WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross discussed various topics on the latest edition of his podcast, The Ross Report. During the podcast, he brought up Dash Wilder breaking his jaw. He said that Wilder will take some time off and will come back a more viable talent than ever before he left because he has two months to study his game and heal the rest of his body, which is not a bad thing.
Ross brought up the challenges of Braun Strowman being a heel. He said that he sometimes wonders if Strowman is such a strong character that there will be a pocket of fans that live through that vicariously as a big monster. He said that it might be challenging for him to be that traditional big heel that the fans have been used to seeing over the years. He asked if that is a bad thing. He likes Strowman but thinks that it might be challenging with the way he is working, and his look, with his destructive mission. He said that all of that might be challenging for him to be this monstrous villain because what is there really to hate. He said that especially with him working with Roman Reigns who is controversial as well. He said that Strowman beating up Reigns does not make him a heel, so it’s going to be challenging. Ross added that he believes that both Reigns and Strowman are going to be big stars.
