John Cena debuted the sixth move of doom at WWE Super Show-Down

John Cena returned to the ring in Melbourne, Australia for WWE Super Show-Down in front of over 60,000 fans. It’s the first time fans have seen him in the ring since WrestleMania when he took on The Undertaker. Cena has been in China during the last couple of months because he is filming a movie with Jackie Chan.

As expected, based on the videos he’s been posting on social media, he looked leaner and he has grown out his hair. The hair looks that way because that is how he needs to look for the movie. Lashley wrestled for several minutes before he was finally able to tag in Cena. At one point, Lashley went for a spear through the ropes on Elias but Elias moved out of the way and he crashed hard onto the floor at ringside.

Cena was in the match for less a minute. He hit a couple of his trademark moves (including the Attitude Adjustment) and then the lightning fist on Elias before pinning him.

After the match, he grabbed the microphone and said WWE is his home and his life is changing but he never forgets where he came from. He said he has no idea what the future holds so he is focusing on now and right now he is standing in front of 70,000 people making noise and there is not a better feeling in the world. He thanked Australia for allowing him to perform.

My guess is that Cena may have been limited because he didn’t want to risk injury because he still needed to film more scenes for “Project X.”

At this point, Cena is not booked for any WWE shows going forward but, as we reported earlier this week, he might appear at Smackdown 1000 on 10/16 before he flies back to China at the end of the month.
