Pro Wrestling Report host Dameon Nelson had a chance to sit down and talk with former WWE/TNA star Ken Anderson to talk about what he’s up to these days, his TNA run and more.
When asked about his departure from TNA, Anderson described his TNA departure as “amicable.” He said that he feels like he’s his own boss for the first time in his life because he can make his own schedule on the independent scene. He noted that, while you don’t reach as many viewers, there is something about the interaction with the crowds at indie shows that he likes.
He also talked about some of the people he’s worked with in TNA. He said that he did some great stuff with Kurt Angle, Bully Ray and Sting. He said that he really enjoyed working with Angle because Angle really pushed him to a different level.
He has tried to break into Hollywood and he said that he signed with an agency right after his WWE run but it’s hard to transition into Hollywood from wrestling because people in Hollywood will not consider a pro wrestler. Names like The Rock, John Cena and Dave Bautista are the exception.
He was asked about a WWE return. He said, “I guess I would entertain just about anything right now. I would at least think about it.”
