Major Hollywood star offered role of Vince McMahon in the movie about his life

It looks like there are still plans to go forward with the movie on WWE CEO Vince McMahon. The film, titled “Pandemonium,” is a collaborative effort by TriStar Pictures and WWE Studios.

According to PWInsider, they want an A-list actor attached to the movie to fast-track the project and to, presumably, help get it wider distribution and more mainstream media coverage as it gets closer to a release date. Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper was offered play the part of McMahon several weeks ago but there’s no word yet if he’s accepted.

The original script, before WWE Studios got on board, included ridiculous stories about McMahon’s life that never happened. Thankfully, a new script has been written so it should be more accurate about things that have transpired in his life. The original script, for example, had McMahon’s father passing away in 1994 when, in fact, he passed away in 1984. The original script also claimed that Vince met Linda at a strip club. Click here if you want to read some of the outrageous things from the first script.

Glenn Ficarra and John Requa of the NBC series “This Is Us” are attached to the film as directors and WWE Studios’ Michael Luisi and Aperture Entertainment’s Adam Goldworn will be the producers.

Fan runs into the ring and gets kicked in the face at WWE NXT live event

NXT events are fun because of the atmosphere created by the fans. But every now and then there’s one bonehead that feels the need to be a part of the show.

That is what happened on Friday night at the NXT live event in Tampa when a fan jumped in the ring during a match between The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O’Reilly) and Kassius Ohno and Heavy Machinery. According to the reports from the show, O’Reilly kicked the fan in the face and was then quickly pulled out and escorted out of the arena. Presumably, he will be banned from all future WWE events.

Here is footage of the fan being taken away by security.

We will post an update if we are able to obtain footage of the fan running into the ring and being kicked by O’Reilly. Needless to say, if you run into the ring during a match then don’t be surprised if you get a punch or a kick as a receipt. Fans have every right to cheer and boo for whoever they want but all bets are off once you jump the barricade and attempt to get close to one of the wrestlers.

If there’s anyone out there thinking about doing at a future show this then maybe you should check out this video from 2002 of Eddie Guerrero punching a dumb fan:

WWE star headed to Raw after Hell In A Cell?

Kevin Owens is set to do battle against Shane McMahon at Hell In A Cell in a match which was set up by destroying Vince McMahon in the process.

But it turns out there might be more to this story. After all, there’s usually not a lot of offers for you after you destroy your boss. With Shane McMahon as Commissioner of SmackDown Live, he’s already seemed to enforce a stipulation which takes any future United States Title opportunities away from The Prizefighter. Who knows what kind of tactics Shane might use after Owens destroys him in a Hell In A Cell match?

Bryan Alvarez speculated on Wrestling Observer Live that Kevin Owens might be making a jump over to the Red Team after Hell In A Cell.

Alvarez said WWE has a few plans they could go with after Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon do battle inside Hell In A Cell and one of them might even involve bringing Stephanie McMahon back into the picture. Bringing Steph back might be plausible seeing how she emerged from the back to tend to Vince after that bloody headbutt spot.

Another possibility would involve seeing Owens brought over to Raw. Of course, if they lose the star power of Kevin Owens on SmackDown Live it’s likely he’ll have to be traded with another Superstar to make up for it.

Backstage news on Vince McMahon’s reaction to Reigns/Cena and Lesnar/Strowman at No Mercy

If you did not like the John Cena vs. Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman at WWE No Mercy then Vince McMahon would disagree with you.

As reported in the latest Wrestling Observer newsletter, McMahon was very happy with both main events. His feeling was that he got what he wanted out of them. His goal with the Reigns/Cena match was to pass the torch to Reigns and put him over as “the guy” in WWE. Let’s keep in mind that they’ve tried to do this before and it’s failed and Reigns has been on the main roster for 5 years. Perhaps, this time it will work.

While it might not make sense for Lesnar to beat Strowman so decisively, the idea was to put Lesnar over as strong as possible. The same applies to Roman Reigns. The plans still are for Reigns vs. Lesnar at WrestleMania and that would likely be for the WWE Universal Championship.

We are many months away from that match but it will be interesting to see how the crowd reacts to that feud because most fans already know that Lesnar’s WWE contract expires at WrestleMania, which makes it even more obvious that Reigns is going over.

Marty Jannetty responds to stories suggesting that he wanted to have sex with his “daughter”

Several mainstream media outlets have picked up on a story about former WWE Superstar Marty Jannety. We heard about this last month but we chose to ignore the story because we try to stay away from salacious items like this but we are reporting on it since Jannetty has issued a statement on the recent reports.

Basically, several media outlets posted a screen shot from a Marty Jannetty Facebook post. The post asked followers if Jannetty should have sex with his “daughter” Bianca, who appears to be in her 20’s, after finding out that she is not his bilogical child. Previous posts on his account indicated that he only found out about her existence in 2014 and he vowed to turn his life around after she made contact with him. The full Facebook post read: “If you loves me as much as I loves you, you will give your opinion, just did DNA (22 weeks ago), she’s NOT my daughter, we both held out of sex because you don’t do that, but now we ain’t? From a guy’s side, SHE’S F**KING HOT, but she’s been [my] daughter. I want to, but I can’t get past that.”

Official challenge issued to John Cena at WrestleMania 34

On Thursday, Jannetty responded to the mainstream news reports and said that his account was hacked and he had nothing to do with the post about his “daughter.”

Here is the screenshot and then scroll down for the statement from Jannetty:

“BREAKING NEWS FOR ALL MEDIA!!! NO SEX WITH DAUGHTERS!!! (I put that 2nd line in to grab your attention as you need to see whats going on with this) : I will be limiting what I say here due to attorney’s advice & lawsuits in progress.

Several major newspapers in major cities in America(and countries, Canada, Australia & the UK, so far) have recently written articles on me about my daughter, suggesting we wanted to have sex together. Well please share this and write an article about this(as I know you won’t because it’s not something negative on me) ITS FAKE NEWS!!

My site was hacked or it came from a fake account, which Im constantly having Facebook remove them. (Had been hacked 7 times b4 since on FB) All the newspapers other than the NY Post(I think thats the one)(its definitely a top NY paper though) have written the article AS FACT. The NY Post did say at the end of the article that they didnt know if the story was true or hacked. BUT, they wrote it anyway. This morning I found a big piece of evidence where this came from.

I always tell my people on Facebook about losing my phones which happens a lot(Dude, where’s my phone) Well heres how I know a recent one was stolen and not lost. I got up this morning and saw my phone had 8 FB messages that came in from 4:30am when I went to bed and 8:30am when I woke up. I checked into them and they were all people asking why I looked so sad. There was a pic sent to many people in my FB messenger of me>>looking horrible!!! IT TOLD ON THE CULPRIT! The picture is of me close up and wearing my reading glasses and looking tired as can be(which I was) BUT, that pic came while I was setting up Skype and didnt mean to take a selfie, evidently I touched a wrong place.

But I saved that pic to THAT PHONE to occasionally look and remind myself Im getting real old. Point being, it was saved to that STOLEN phone. Not FB, not my laptop, tablet or computer. JUST THAT PHONE. AndI always leave my FB open on my phone so that person was able to go all through my FB account. That person must hate me. Why else would they do that crap to me? My biggest disappointment is no one(that saw it) caught on that it was obviously fake and at least ASKED me about it rather than take it as true. EXCEPT, for a few on my fan page. Thats how I originally found out about it.
Its a 6 weeks old thing that I was keeping quiet about so as not to harm the investigation. BUT recently, for some odd reason, newspapers are suddenly reporting on it.(we know why) But NOW you all know the REAL on this. Sorry Bianca AND Wendy that y’all are getting dragged into my messes. I love yall, this will be fixed!!”

WWE resists subpoena in Bray Wyatt divorce case

As expected, things are getting messy with the Windham and Samantha Rotunda divorce case. Windham Rotunda is WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt. Chris Harrington at Fightful.com was able to obtain court records that showed that, last month, WWE was served a subpoena in Connecticut court to submit documents related to Wyatt’s pay. They were also requested to appear for a deposition. Samantha Rotunda wants WWE to produce these documents related to her husband’s “income and earning capacity” because they would be relevant to issues around alimony and child support.

WWE responded by saying that the requests were “abusive, harassing, overboard, and would cause WWE undue or unreasonable burden or expense” and if they complied then their “conservative estimates” for complying would cost them “$247,500 to $483,000.”

For those of you not following the case, Samantha Rotunda filed for divorce back in April and she alleges that her husband cheated on her. It was later revealed that Wyatt was dating WWE ring announcer JoJo.

Documents, dating back to February 2011, being requested include:

Tax Returns
Financial Statements
Banking Information
Loan Applications
Credit Cards
Pension Plans
Real Estate
Personal Property
Mortgages and Notes
Fictitious Names
Partnership and Joint Venture Agreements
Employment Records/Contracts
Fringe Benefits
Trusts
Disability Pension
Powers of Attorney
Safe Deposit Boxes

WWE has agreed to produce Wyatt’s “1099s, booking contracts and some licensing contracts subject to the objections” but they said that they would need specifically trained review attorneys to “collect, process and review the WWE’s electronically-stored email information.”

On September 22, 2017, “Memorandum of law in support of motion to compel compliance with subpoena” was filed by Samantha’s attorneys with the intent to show that WWE is acting in “bad faith” and attempting to “intimidate an individual litigant from conducting discovery and learning her husband’s true financial picture.”
