Nikki Bella recently spoke with ESPN about various topics. During the interview, she was asked about working in WWE without her sister Brie. She noted that in the beginning, she felt lonely but eventually embraced it. She stated that now she can prove to people that she is an individual and doesn’t just have to be a Bella Twin to make a name for herself. She noted that she has really enjoyed playing the Fearless Nikki character. “But there are moments like the Royal Rumble or different moments that I wish I could share with Brie, and I do miss seeing her out there. Like when I do tag matches [I think], ‘Oh I miss my sister Brie.’ So it has its ups and downs.”

When asked about her teenage idol, she noted that her idol was Jennifer Lopez. She noted that she was maturing in a way that all of her friends weren’t at the time as she looked like she was 15 when she was 10 years old. She added that she is proud to be a Latina and growing up with the Hispanic traditions.
