Despite previous reports that said that Paul Heyman would not be at the Greatest Royal Rumble show in Saudi Arabia, we have confirmed with a WWE source that he will be there with Brock Lesnar on Friday. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter first reported this on Tuesday night and we confirmed it a few hours later.
Lesnar will defend the WWE Univeral Championship against Roman Reigns. There has been a lot of talk about Lesnar’s contract and no one seems to know if he has signed a one-match deal or if he will be around for more shows. The only thing that is for certain is that his new deal is for the short-term and the belief is still that he will fight for UFC again.
The finish of the match on Friday is top secret so it’s unlikely that anything will leak out because most of the people in the company have no idea who is booked to win.
We will have complete coverage of the Greatest Royal Rumble show on Friday beginning at 12 pm eastern. The show is slated to run approximately 5 hours.
