WWE.com has confirmed the news that first broke here on WrestlingNews.co. Orton underwent successful surgery to repair a medial meniscus tear in his left knee. We were told that the surgery took place last Tuesday and he would not be out of action for an extended period of time.
“I’ve known I needed the surgery since late last year, but I’ve been waiting for the right time to get my knee cleaned out,” Orton told WWE.com. “Right now was the right time.”
We were told that this was considered a minor surgery and he should be back in action by July or August at the latest.
