The Miz recently spoke with IGN.com to promote The Marine 5, which was released on Blu-Ray and DVD on Tuesday. During the interview, he was asked what it’s like returning for his third Marine film. He said that it’s his franchise and the greatest thing he could ever imagine. He said that if someone told him when he was in his first Marine movie that he would be doing three of these movies he wouldn’t believe it. He said that he was surprised he didn’t die in the Marine 3 as he felt that his character would as it would have been a heartfelt send-off of sorts. “And here I am in Marine 5 and still going strong too. As long as the fans enjoy them, we’ll keep making them and this one — as much as I love Marine 3 and Marine 4 — this one’s made the most noise. In the way of most WWE fans want to see WWE Superstars in movies, and they want to see them together, and since this one has so many of us, the fans really want to see it. They’re captivated by it.”
When asked about being traded back to RAW, he said that RAW is the flagship show of the company and that RAW needed the ratings. He said that it needed the star power of him and Maryse. He noted that WWE brought over the it couple and now it’s the show to watch. He said with SmackDown Live, they made it the must-see show. He noted that people would tune in wondering what they would do next and that they are doing the exact same thing with RAW.
