There is some speculation online that Ricochet may have injured himself on Monday night during an NXT live event in Paris, France.
He teamed with and Johnny Gargano to defeat Tommaso Ciampa and Velveteen Dream but fans noticed that things didn’t seem to go so well towards the latter stages of the match when Ricochet crashed and burned on a suicide dive.
As you can see in the clip below, he landed hard on the floor. The referee did the “X” gesture and he was helped to the back after the match. On Twitter, Ricochet did not acknowledge but noted that he was flying home from the overseas tour.
Hopefully, he is ok. As of this writing, he is still scheduled to face Velveteen Dream at NXT Takeover: Chicago. It should be noted that he did not appear for a scheduled match at the live event in Belgium on Tuesday.
On the plane about to head back to the states. An amazing and my first overseas tour for @WWENXT is all wrapped up! Thanks to all who came and made it possible!
Now time to get ready for my spotlight at #NXTTakeOverChicago.
