Two championship matches announced for WWE Extreme Rules

WWE has announced two matches for the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event. Austin Aries will challenge Neville for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, and Dean Ambrose will defend the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz at the event. WWE has added a stipulation to the Intercontinental Championship match following this week’s episode of RAW where Ambrose retained the championship against the Miz when he was DQ. At Extreme Rules, Miz can win the championship if Ambrose is DQ’d.

The WWE Extreme Rules PPV will take place on June 4, 2017, at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. This will be a RAW brand exclusive show. The event will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. Here is the updated card for the event:

— #1 Contender’s Fatal 5-Way Match: Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins vs. Samoa Joe.

— Intercontinental Championship Match: Dean Ambrose © vs. The Miz – if Ambrose is DQ’d then Miz will become Intercontinental champion.

— Cruiserweight Championship Match: Neville © vs. Austin Aries.

— RAW Tag Team Championship Match: The Hardy Boyz © vs. Cesaro & Sheamus.
