WWE Championship not on the line at Payback?, House of Horrors to be shot like a movie?

If you didn’t see the survey that was sent out last week, we’ll run down some of the options. The mood options are: cage, sheeple, match set outside of the arena, darkness, mirrors, creepy/scary, fire, projected images, music, pitchforks, for, other.

The weapons options are: chainsaws, bugs, masks, snakes, costumes, axes, tables, chains, chairs, fire, kendo sticks, other.

On a recent episode of Edge and Christian’s podcast, they revealed that Michael Hayes came up with a concept for the “House of Horrors” match many years ago at an Outback Steakhouse. The original idea was for the match to pit The Brood against The Hardy Boyz (sometime in late 1999 or 2000). The idea was to have the match take place in a funhouse with two-way mirrors with a bunch of gimmicks. Hayes wanted to shoot it like a movie and the house would have had trap doors and passageways. That might give us some insight into what WWE has planned for the match at Payback.

If you like this idea then I’d say you are in luck because Hayes still works as a Senior Producer.
