WWE continues to tease big match for Survivor Series

Survivor Series is starting to look much different than the originally scheduled card announced a few weeks ago. Not only have the Raw and SmackDown Live teams for both the men and women further developed, but the biggest shocker is that the Champion vs. Champion moniker has a new face on the poster, as AJ Styles defeated Jinder Mahal on this past SmackDown Live to win the WWE Championship for the second time.

Despite rumors that he would be the fifth member of Team Raw, WWE looks to have a different direction for Roman Reigns. The Raw commentators confirmed that Reigns will be returning on the upcoming episode in Atlanta, but now he has a new point of focus. During the Raw Tag Team Championship match, The New Day distracted the roster, causing Sheamus to Brogue Kick Seth Rollins and The Bar to win the titles once again. This led to speculation that The Shield would officially reunite at the same pay-per-view that they made their debut at five years ago.

WWE is continuing to tease a Shield vs. New Day six-man tag match at Survivor Series, as Reigns and Big E are exchanging jabs on Twitter.

Cathy Kelley sums it all up on the latest episode of WWE Now, which you can view below.
