WWE is always looking to stay ahead of the game in every respect. It might take some people years to figure out what WWE had already patented long ago. I’m not trying to put them over but WWE is the worldwide leader in sports entertainment for a reason.
But just because WWE is so powerful doesn’t mean other promotions won’t try and get a piece of the pro wrestling pie as well. The only problem is WWE doesn’t like sharing the profits in any market.
“I think they’re going to announce at the Royal Albert Hall shows which is the 18th and 19th” Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio concerning WWE’s renewed interest in the United Kingdom market.
“They’ll probably announce a television deal or something because the idea is to really… because the other guys are doing something, they’re gonna be on tv for 10 weeks. WWE wants to do something and get something going to keep guys from going there.”
As WWE continues their reach around the globe it looks like they’re also well aware of any other efforts to bring a pro wrestling product to television in every other region of the globe. Let’s just hope as WWE continues to snatch up all of this amazing talent in the UK they actually have plans to use them because these guys are at the top of their craft for a reason.
