WWE makes a change to Ronda Rousey’s match in Geneva, Switzerland

A change has been made to the planned one-one-one match that was originally supposed to feature Ronda Rousey taking on Mickie James as part of this week’s European tour.

WWE has announced that Rousey will still be competing but it will be a 3 vs. 3 match. She will be teaming with Ember Moon and Natalya. The change may have been made to protect Rousey because WWE might not feel that she is ready for a full-blown singles match-up.

The match at WrestleMania had been rehearsed and carefully choreographed so it would make sense if WWE had some reservations about a singles match so early. Rousey is scheduled to face Nia Jax at next month’s Money In The Bank pay-per-view for the Raw Women’s Championship and she has been added to shows scheduled for August in the UK. WWE did not say who will be the opponents for Natalya, Moon and Rousey.
