For those of you who have asked why Dana Brooke was moved up to the main roster before Bayley, Dave Meltzer noted that it was a decision made by the company because they don’t have another female babyface star that can take Bayley’s place in NXT. So, don’t expect Bayley to move up to the main roster anytime soon.
There’s no question that Bayley is more than ready to move up but they count on her as a headliner on the live events. It’s sort of like the situation with Finn Balor. They were in no rush to move him up because they needed a top babyface to headline their tours.
Bayley has been wrestling against Alexa Bliss at some of the recent NXT live events.
