Rush was shown in a luxury high rise building sporting a cocky attitude. The 23-year-old called himself a living legend and said that it would only be a matter of time before 205 Live felt the Rush.
Rush signed with WWE towards the latter months of 2017 but was not featured much after a comment made on social media that made light of Emma’s release. There was talk that he would have been released if he had not quickly apologized. He returned to NXT TV in January and lost a squash match to Lars Sullivan and, as of this month, had yet to be featured in a dedicated storyline. He has been working at the live event in recent weeks with a 6’10 former football player (Babatunde) playing the role of his bodyguard.
Prior to signing with WWE, Rush worked for several promotions including ROH, PWG, Combat Zone Wrestling and EVOLVE, among others. Despite the perceived attitude issues, there is a feeling within management that he could end up as one of the great in-ring workers in years to come.
