Tino Sabbatelli will be out of action for several months. He injured his pec on Saturday during a match at the NXT live event in Largo, Florida. The injury happened when he took a dropkick and he immediately grabbed his chest. He told the referee that he was hurt so it was decided that the match would be cut short.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer website noted that he underwent surgery this week. That kind of surgery usually requires 6-9 months to recuperate so he will be out of action at least until the end of this year.
If he requires 9 months then that would mean that he would be back sometime in January.
Just saw this on Instagram and I'm so sad. I know you will fight through this and come back stronger then ever because you're the elite athlete. Sending prayers your way @TinoSabbatelli pic.twitter.com/AGeu88hjIg
