WWE continues to stack their already talent-packed roster. Now, they’ve added another big piece to their women’s roster in NXT. According to a report from professional wrestling insider SoDuTw on Twitter, WWE has inked former IMPACT Wrestling star Chelsea Green (also known as Laurel Van Ness) to a contract.
Green apparently reported to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida earlier this week:
“Chelsea Green reported to the WWE Performance Center this week and has been signed by WWE.”

The signing doesn’t come as a complete shock given Green had a tryout with the company recently. The former IMPACT Knockouts Champion was one of professional wrestling’s top unsigned talents and had reportedly been eying a move to the professional wrestling juggernaut.
The 27-year-old has been in the professional wrestling industry since 2014. Green has previously worked for IMPACT Wrestling and Lucha Underground, along with various top indy promotions around the world. She was also one of the four women to compete in the only female match on last month’s historic All In card.
