Kevin Owens is set to do battle against Shane McMahon at Hell In A Cell in a match which was set up by destroying Vince McMahon in the process.
But it turns out there might be more to this story. After all, there’s usually not a lot of offers for you after you destroy your boss. With Shane McMahon as Commissioner of SmackDown Live, he’s already seemed to enforce a stipulation which takes any future United States Title opportunities away from The Prizefighter. Who knows what kind of tactics Shane might use after Owens destroys him in a Hell In A Cell match?
Bryan Alvarez speculated on Wrestling Observer Live that Kevin Owens might be making a jump over to the Red Team after Hell In A Cell.
Alvarez said WWE has a few plans they could go with after Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon do battle inside Hell In A Cell and one of them might even involve bringing Stephanie McMahon back into the picture. Bringing Steph back might be plausible seeing how she emerged from the back to tend to Vince after that bloody headbutt spot.
Another possibility would involve seeing Owens brought over to Raw. Of course, if they lose the star power of Kevin Owens on SmackDown Live it’s likely he’ll have to be traded with another Superstar to make up for it.
