Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle defeated Stephanie McMahon and Triple H at WrestleMania 34
Angle and Triple H started the match but McMahon got a couple of cheap shots on Rousey when her back was turned. McMahon kept preventing Rousey from tagging in but finally, when Angle tossed Triple H over the top rope, Rousey was able to tag in and she dominated for the most part. At one point, Rousey had a pin on McMahon but Triple H pulled the referee out of the ring.
The rules were supposed to be male vs. male but female vs. female but that was tossed out when Rousey demanded Triple H in the ring. Rousey got some smooth offense in until McMahon attacked her from behind. Kurt Angle and Triple H then fought in the ring and Angle hit some of his trademark suplexes. It was the best he’s looked since returning to WWE. Triple H kicked out of an Angle slam but that was not the end of the match because there was a kickout at 2. McMahon got in the ring and tried to kick Angle but he turned it into an Ankle lock but it was broken up by Triple H. H hit the pedigree but Rousey broke it up.
Triple H almost tapped out to Rousey but McMahon broke it up. Rousey put her in the armbar and forced the tap out while Angle put Triple H in the ankle lock. Later, Angle tossed Triple H out of the ring and Rousey got the armbar on McMahon. Rousey got her to submit. Good match and Rousey looked pretty good for her level of experience.
