One of the few true Impact Wrestling/TNA originals could have gone to WWE, according to the Wrestling Observer newsletter.
The Hardys tried to get Jeremy Borash to go with them to WWE. Borash was a big part of the creative for all of the “Broken” stuff that aired on Impact Wrestling television over the past year. Borash worked behind the scenes for a lot of the stuff that you saw that was taped at Matt Hardy’s compound in Cameron, NC.
Borash turned down the offer because he has so much going on. In addition to his role as lead announcer on Impact, he also does other things such as being the M.C. for Chef Robert Irvine (Gail Kim’s husband) and Jim Ross’ live shows. He has also done some work for The Howard Stern show. Borash is one of the few people in the company that has been there consistently since the first day and he’s worn many hats over the years. He is also friends with Jeff Jarrett dating back to the dying days of WCW.
