Vince McMahon reportedly bans the term “backbreaker” from WWE TV

Vince McMahon has a new banned term that WWE announcers cannot use on television, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer.com.

McMahon does not like the use of the term “backbreaker.” The term wasn’t called when Sheamus used his Irish Curse backbreaker during his match on last night’s episode of RAW. The reason for the banned term is not known, but what is known is that Vince does this from time to time with different terms.

He also said that the term has been kept off television before at the request of McMahon.
