WWE issues statement on the fan that was hit with a car door on RAW

As noted, during Monday’s episode of WWE Monday Night, Brock Lesnar destroyed J&J Security’s Cadillac with two axes. He also tore a door off the car. Lesnar would go on to throw the door across the stage, which ended up having pieces flying into the air. One of the pieces flew into the crowd and hit a guy.

The fan that was hit was taken backstage for treatment but was said to be fine, according to those in attendance. He return to his seat and enjoyed the rest of the show.

WWE has since issued the following statement to New York Daily News on the matter:

“WWE immediately responded to the incident during last night’s show. The fan was unharmed and declined any medical attention.”
