More news on TNA’s Vice President departing late last week

As noted, Andy Barton, who served as TNA’s Vice President left the company after working there since 2002. Dave Meltzer notes that people within TNA are using the term “rats jumping off a sinking ship” when it comes to all of the departures from the company as of late.

It was also described in regards of Barton’s departure as “the biggest, fattest rat jumping off.”

TNA has replaced him with Eric Sherman. Sherman’s background includes having overseen VH 1 Classic, VH 1 Soul and Palladia as well as President of Fuse TV and CEO of the Veria Living Channel.

Barton goes back nineteen years with Dixie Carter as he worked with her as the Vice President for Trifecta Entertainment. He served as the Executive Vice President while in TNA.
