As seen on RAW last night, it appears that WWE is going with Seth Rollins vs. John Cena in a champion vs. champion match at SummerSlam.
Bryan Alvarez confirmed this on Tuesday’s episode of Wrestling Observer Live. Alvarez said that coming out of Monday’s RAW the current plan is to do that match at the pay-per-view event.
The 2015 edition of WWE SummerSlam will take place on August 23, 2015, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City, New York. This year’s event marks the first since 2008 to be held outside of Los Angeles as Staples Center was the exclusive home for SummerSlam from 2009 to 2014.
