Following last night’s WWE SmackDown TV tapings, it appears that WWE is booking Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens at SummerSlam. They did an angle where the two were involved in a backstage segment exchanging words as well as Owens attack Cesaro following the main event of SmackDown.
This is not confirmed by WWE, but just pure speculation as of this writing.
The 2015 edition of WWE SummerSlam will take place on August 23, 2015, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City, New York. This year’s event marks the first since 2008 to be held outside of Los Angeles as Staples Center was the exclusive home for SummerSlam from 2009 to 2014.
