WWE heavily edits last night’s episode of NXT due to fan chants

WWE reportedly had to do a lot of editing to last night’s episode of NXT. The reason for this is because of the fans booing the opening segment with Finn Balor talking about his match with Kevin Owens at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn as well as the main event segment that saw a contract signing between the two that led to a brawl. The reason for the fans booing is because of the location of the upcoming event.

Usually, WWE holds the TV tapings and the Takeover specials at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

However, the next Takeover special will be in Brooklyn, New York on August 22nd at the Barclays Center thus the reason they are booing.

They also chanted “we deserve it” in regards to Takeover in Brooklyn.
