Hulk Hogan gone from WWE, alleged racist comments released, Hogan apologizes

UPDATE 8: Hogan issued the following statement to People.com

“Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it.”

He added, “This is not who I am. I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise,” Hogan told PEOPLE. “I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs.”

UPDATE 7: Hulk Hogan’s attorney told TMZ that he was NOT fired and he resigned on Thursday night.

UPDATE 6: WWE has terminated Hogan’s contract and they have issued an official statement. Click here for the statement.

UPDATE 5: New details have been released about the situation. According to National Enquirer, Hogan made racist remarks about African Americans by calling then the worst name possible.

According to the report, Hogan made those comments in his sex tape that was made and released a few years ago.

“She is making some real bad decisions now,” Hulk said. “My daughter Brooke jumped sides on me. I spent $2-3 million on her music career, I’ve done everything like a jackass for her.”

“I don’t know if Brooke was f*cking the black guy’s son,” Hulk raved, the sources add.

“I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f*cking n*ggers. But then when it comes to nice people and sh*t, and whatever.”

“I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f*ck some n*gger, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n*gger worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player!

“I guess we’re all a little racist. Fucking n*gger.”

UPDATE 4: Hogan was scheduled to be part of the WWE tour of Australia next month. If you are planning to see Hogan on any of those shows then I would not hold my breath on that.

UPDATE 3: There is a 2012 philly.com article online with claims that there are more Hogan sex tapes floating around and supposedly there is footage of Hogan going on a “racist rant” that included “N-bombs.”

UPDATE 2: There is a rumor that an audio recording of Hogan is going to leak today where you could allegedly hear Hogan using the “N” word. We have not confirmed that this rumor is true but if that is why WWE has pulled Hogan from their website then I can understand where they are coming from on this.

UPDATE: WWE has changed Curtis Axel’s profile pic. In recent months, his profile pic featured him in his “AxelMania” gimmick. He profile now shows a photo of him as he was before the “AxelMania” gimmick.

ORIGINAL: We are not sure what is going on but several readers have sent word that Hulk Hogan has been removed from the WWE Alumni roster page on their offifial website.

All traces of Hulk Hogan merchandise have also been removed from the WWEShop.com page. If you visit the Hulk Hogan section on WWEShop.com then you’ll get a “We’re sorry, no products were found for your search” message. He has also been removed from the Hall of Fame section.

Hogan has also been removed from the cast page on WWEToughEnough.com. As of this writing, here is what the cast page looks like.

My first thought was that there could have been an error on the WWE.com website and that could have explained Hogan missing from the roster page but it’s odd that his merchandise is gone and he’s been pulled from the Tough Enough page so there may be a big story brewing.

We hope to have more on this story soon.
